It has already been several years since Porsche launched the third-generation Panamera. First revealed in Shanghai back in late 2023, the latest Panamera retains the familiar shape and silhouette, but gets some subtle exterior changes, as well as a new triple-screen dashboard.

Soon, however, Porsche may reveal the refreshed Panamera after our spies were able to take new photos of an updated prototype with almost no disguise at the Nürburgring. First spotted by our spy photographers earlier this year, the latest spy shots show the updated Panamera with little to no changes whatsoever. However, the subtle changes may have been deliberate to focus more on efficiency and aerodynamics.

If anything, the changes to the exterior look to be largely concentrated on the bumpers to give it better aerodynamics and airflow. The LED headlights, meanwhile, appeared to have been given a new look, although they could also be prototype units.

No interior pics were taken by our spies, but we won't be surprised if there will be some key changes in the 2027 model year update of the Panamera. Perhaps we can expect some software and infotainment updates to better suit customers. A change of materials and other color options for the cabin may also become available in the latest update.

Under the hood, the 2027 Porsche Panamera may continue to be available with a wide array of powertrain options. These include a 2.9L turbocharged V6 that makes 353 PS with 499 Nm of torque, the Panamera E-Turbo Hybrid, which gets an electrified 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that puts out 680 PS with 930 Nm of torque, and the mighty Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which generates 782 PS and a staggering 1,000 Nm of torque.

With Porsche busy testing what could be the refreshed Panamera, an official launch might just happen before the year ends.
