Second Skin Industries hosts fun filled track day at Clark International Speedway
Track day and car culture collide at Clark International Speedway thanks to Second Skin Industries
Speed, high-end fun, and automotive passion collided last Sunday, July 19, 2026, after Second Skin Industries took over the Clark International Speedway (CIS) for an exclusive track day event.
Bringing together a curated mix of supercar & tuner owners, track enthusiasts, and automotive lifestyle figures, the gathering offered drivers a controlled environment to unleash the full potential of their vehicles, while also showcasing the real-world durability of modern paint protection tech.

From early morning, the CIS pit lane was lined with an impressive fleet of machinery. High-performance builds ranging from Porsche GT RS models to Ferrari exotics, as well as boosted Japanese sports cars and other high-performance builds, filled the paddocks.

Many of the attending vehicles featured SSI’s signature Magnus Pro Paint Protection Film (PPF), custom vinyl wraps, and specialized ceramic protection. Designed to safeguard high-end paintwork from extreme conditions, these protective solutions faced the ultimate trial: high-speed runs, aggressive track grit, and flying rubber debris.

The day featured structured sessions tailored to varying experience levels, ensuring safe yet adrenaline-fueled track time for both seasoned competitors and track novices.

Beyond the action at the track, the Land Transportation Office even set up a satellite office at the paddock of the Clark International Speedway, offering services ranging from driver's license renewals to vehicle registration for participants on-site. LTO Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao also graced the event and took part in the proceedings.

Partner shops, aftermarket brands, and even vehicle brands also took part in the event, setting up pop-up booths to showcase their services and products to both spectators and participants of the trackday.

The event highlighted the growing synergy between performance, aesthetics, and vehicle preservation within the Philippine automotive scene. Track days have evolved from niche motorsport gatherings into comprehensive celebrations of local car culture.

By hosting the event, Second Skin Industries reinforced its standing not just as a pioneer in protective automotive films and custom aesthetics, but as an active champion for the local enthusiast community. As tires cooled and engines quieted down at dusk, participants left with fresh personal records and a shared appreciation for speed, style, and engineering excellence.
