Order books open for VinFast VF 8 ahead of November launch in PH
VinFast VF 8 set for November Philippine launch, pre-orders now open
VinFast has opened pre-orders for the all-new VF 8 in the Philippines, making the country the first international market to introduce the latest version of the brand’s D-segment electric SUV. The model is scheduled to launch locally in November 2026, with initial deliveries expected to begin within the same month.
Interested customers can reserve the electric SUV through VinFast’s authorized dealerships nationwide until November 5, 2026. Deposits range from PHP 5,000 to PHP 10,000 and are non-refundable.
The first 1,000 customers who place their pre-orders within the promotional period will receive a complimentary one-year battery subscription.
VinFast describes the new VF 8 as a comprehensive update, with changes to its design, technology platform, features, and driving experience. The SUV follows the brand’s “Tech Fluid” design philosophy, with flowing lines and a modern exterior intended to combine styling with everyday practicality.
The company has yet to disclose the Philippine-spec model’s full specifications and pricing.
For after-sales coverage, the VF 8 comes with a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer vehicle warranty, whichever comes first. Its battery is covered for 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Antonio “Toti” Zara III, CEO of VinFast Philippines, said the early booking program is intended to give local customers an opportunity to secure the new model ahead of its arrival.
“Built for the performance- and tech-focused Filipinos, the VF 8 promises a premium midsize crossover e-SUV experience. The pre-order program is our way of giving Filipinos a chance to be among the first in the Philippines to experience our newest offering,” Zara said.
The VF 8 will join VinFast’s existing electric vehicle lineup in the Philippines as the company continues to expand its local operations. Its efforts include developing after-sales services and charging infrastructure with support from V-Green and local partners.
VinFast is pursuing its broader “For a Green Future” strategy across Southeast Asia, combining vehicle sales with charging access and customer support programs as it expands its electric vehicle business in the region.
