Earlier today, we reported on the possible changes that would happen in the finale of the 2026 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup, which was rescheduled last week due to the threat of flooding and heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

Based on a driver and participant advisory document, a preferred date and venue emerged, stating that Race Weekend 4 could take place at Batangas Racing Circuit on November 17 to 19, 2026.

But now, Toyota Motor Philippines has officially made it clear – Race Weekend 4 will still be held at Clark International Speedway on October 22 to 24, 2026.

That also means the TGR Philippine Cup is back to its usual schedule of Thursday to Saturday, where Thursday will serve as the official practice day, Friday for qualifying and the sprint race, and Saturday will serve as the main feature, where two races will be held for both the Tamaraw and Vios OMR classes. 

With all championship titles still very much undecided, it will be an interesting finale as to which driver and team will take home the coveted crown.
