Mitsubishi's budget sedan continues to defy the odds, as the Mirage G4 (AKA the Attrage) just received another facelift. That's right, the Mirage G4 just got an update yet again, and it looks a bit more rugged compared to its predecessor.

Starting with the obvious, the Mirage G4 gets a revised front grille design, which now adheres to the brand's Dynamic Shield look. The result is a honeycomb grille that's paired with a hexagonal-style trim, giving the sedan a slightly sportier look. The rest of the vehicle has been carried over, including the LED headlights, foglights, stylish LED taillights, and the 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, Mitsubishi largely carried over the cabin as well, including the 7-inch touchscreen media display with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and the automatic climate control (manual aircon on lower variants). Ever present as well are the leather-wrapped steering wheel, the three-pod gauge cluster, the piano gloss black finish on high-grade models, and the keyless entry for top-of-the-line variants.

For the first time, the Mirage G4 is now available with advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) in the form of forward collision warning and lane departure warning. This gives drivers of the humble sedan some extra peace of mind while on the road.

Under the hood, the Mirage G4 continues to be powered by the long-lived 1.2L naturally aspirated 3A92 three-cylinder engine. As before, it makes 78 PS with 100 Nm of torque and is mated to the brand's INVECS III CVT that drives the front wheels. In Thailand, the updated Mirage G4 is only offered with a CVT, but other markets like the Philippines will likely still get a 5-speed manual option.

With the Mirage G4 getting another lease on life, it looks like we can expect the budget sedan to continue serving as Mitsubishi's affordable four-door in the next several years. That also means the Philippine market may get another facelifted Mirage G4 in later years.
