Mitsubishi PH rejoins PHEV arena with 2026 Outlander GT AWD
After being previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show earlier this year, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially rejoined the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) segment.
Making its Philippine debut is the refreshed Outlander GT PHEV. The fourth-generation crossover SUV gets important upgrades, which give it improved EV range, a better suspension, and updated interior features.
Beginning with its electrified hardware, the Outlander GT PHEV gets a 2.4L naturally aspirated engine that makes 133 PS with 195 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by a pair of electric motors and a bigger 22.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack (previously 20 kWh). The front motor puts out 116 PS with 255 Nm of torque, while the rear motor generates 136 PS with 195 Nm of torque. Combined, the Outlander GT PHEV makes a total system output of 306 PS.

On battery power alone, Mitsubishi says the Outlander GT PHEV can do up to 86 km, based on the WLTP cycle. Meanwhile, its combined range is rated up to 844 km, thanks to a bigger 53-liter fuel tank. The AWD Outlander GT PHEV also comes with selectable drive modes: EV, Series, Hybrid, and Parallel Hybrid. It also comes with the brand's Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) to ensure traction over any terrain.
Size-wise, the Outlander GT PHEV measures 4720mm long, 1862mm wide, and 1751mm tall on a 2704mm wheelbase. It also has 199mm of ground clearance, a payload capacity of 570 kg, and a curb weight of 2115 kg.

In terms of looks, the Outlander GT PHEV gets the brand’s updated Dynamic Shield design language. This gives the plug-in hybrid SUV a sleek and dynamic appearance with eye-catching LED daytime running lights & headlights. It also has a massive grille with active grille shutters to improve aerodynamics while on the road. Also worth mentioning are the huge 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/45 series tires.
Hop inside, and the Outlander GT features a feature-packed and stylish cabin. There’s a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display that supports Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, full leather upholstery, heated & ventilated power-adjustable front seats with driver memory function, a three-zone climate control, and a hands-free power tailgate.
Other available features include a wireless charging pad, an 8-speaker sound system from Yamaha, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a heads-up display, a smart rearview mirror with auto-dimming function, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, a multi-around view monitor system, smart keyless entry, a 240V power outlet, and a host of ADAS features.

“The All-New Outlander PHEV is MMPC’s new SUV flagship model. It will be available through authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealerships nationwide starting August 20, 2026. We invite you to visit our dealerships to experience our latest electrified flagship SUV and discover The Power of Both Worlds,” said Ritsu Imaeda, president and CEO of MMPC.
Available colors for the Outlander GT PHEV AWD include: Black Diamond, Red Diamond, and White Diamond.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander GT PHEV is yours for PHP 2.848 million. However, MMPC is offering a special introductory price of PHP 2.749 million until September 30, 2026.
