2024 Nissan GT-R to sell for over PHP 12.4 million

2024 Nissan GT-R to sell for over PHP 12.4 million
SRP of the 2024 Nissan GT-R leaked ahead of its launch
When Nissan launched the 2024 GT-R at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon last January, the supercar slayer was still able to wow enthusiasts and fans alike despite its age. Receiving a major update since its last refresh in 2017, the 16-year-old R35 GT-R gets a redesigned face, a butt lift, and a host of new colors to keep it fresh.
Fast forward to the middle of 2023, and it looks like we’ll be seeing the updated GT-R on Philippine roads soon. While it has yet to be officially launched in the country, we already found out its suggested retail price thanks to a leak, and boy were we surprised.

According to the leaked image from Nissan Autohub, the 2024 Nissan GT-R will retail for a whopping PHP 12.445 million. This is a significant increase as the outgoing 2020 GT-R was used to retail for around PHP 8.9 million. However, it has yet to beat the premium price of the 2020 GT-R NISMO which originally sold for PHP 13.2 million and went up to a staggering PHP 15 million.
So what can buyers expect from the 16-year-old 2024 Nissan GT-R? While the exact specifications have yet to be revealed, those looking to buy one can expect a new front fascia that adopts a boxier look. Gone is the signature V-Motion grille as it has been changed for a longer and sleeker one. The side intakes, meanwhile, are now integrated with the main grille. Last but not least, the corner daytime running lights (DRLs) from the 2012 update return and now feature a honeycomb design.

Moving to the rear, the area between the diffuser and quad taillights has been redesigned to taper less than the previous model. It also gets bigger rear foglights that now sit right between the center diffuser opening. The quad exhaust tips, on the other hand, now come with a titanium burnt finish. Last but not least, the 2024 GT-R greets occupants with a pair of Recaro carbon bucket seats.
Under the hood lies the same hand-built 3.8-liter VR38DETT twin-turbo V6. It continues to crank out 570 PS along with 637 Nm of torque. It is then connected to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and sends power to all four wheels via the ATTESA ET-S AWD system.

With no exact date yet as to when Nissan Philippines will actually reveal the 2024 GT-R, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any new info regarding the upcoming vehicle. All we know is, we won’t be surprised if there are already customers lining up to reserve one.
